BIKE-HEI Training Programme for Academic Staff

Creativity, Innovation and Open Science is an international training programme designed for academic staff seeking to strengthen their capacity to foster innovation, sustainability, and openness in higher education. The programme combines creative thinking methodologies, design thinking approaches, open science principles, and green and digital innovation strategies to support excellence in teaching, research, and knowledge transfer.
Through interactive learning activities, practical examples, and collaborative discussions, participants will explore how to develop innovative educational practices, interdisciplinary research initiatives, and sustainability-oriented projects. The programme encourages creative problem-solving, responsible innovation, and the integration of sustainability into academic work and institutional development.
Agenda
The programme takes place during the Winter Semester 2026 and consists of four online modules delivered by experts from the University of Alicante (Spain), Saarland University (Germany), the University of Primorska (Slovenia), and Mariupol State University (Ukraine). The course includes 10 contact hours delivered entirely online in English. All sessions are recorded and made available to participants.
