The Excellence Program in Detail

4 Semesters. 60 CP. The Next Generation of Innovators.

In the Excellence Program, you develop entrepreneurial skills, turn your own projects into action, and gain international experience. The program is taught in English, creating an international learning environment.

Over four semesters, you combine hands-on experience, mentoring, and community engagement while completing the Excellence Entrepreneurship Certificate (60 CP).

Semester 1 – Orientation, Team Building & First Ideas

At the start of the program, you get to know the other participants, sharpen your entrepreneurial perspective, and develop your first ideas together.

What to expect:

  • Intensive team-building formats and a joint excursion
  • Work on a real-world case study with corporate partners
  • Trend seminar on future technologies and innovation
  • Fundamental entrepreneurial methods and tools
  • Intensive working sessions to develop initial solution approaches
  • Mentoring by entrepreneurs and experts

Recommended curriculum:

Your outcome: You get to know your cohort, develop a shared understanding of entrepreneurship, and work on your first ideas and perspectives.

Semester 2 – Implementation & Responsibility

In the second semester, ideas turn into concrete projects. You take on responsibility and gain your first hands-on experience in implementation.

What to expect:

  • Development of your own start-up ideas
  • Prototyping, validation, and market feedback
  • Budget responsibility for your own projects
  • Participation in student innovation projects

Semester 3 – International Experience & Networking

In the third semester, you broaden your horizons and become part of an international entrepreneurship network.

What to expect:

  • A 4–6 week stay at an international partner university
  • Insights into international start-up and innovation ecosystems
  • Collaboration with companies, research institutions, and partner organizations
  • Building an international network
  • Taking on a mentoring role for new cohorts

Your outcome: You gain international experience, explore different innovation cultures, and further develop your leadership skills.

Semester 4 – Leadership & Impact

In the final semester, you focus on what comes next: launching a start-up, starting your career, or further developing your own projects.

What to expect:

  • Completion of the Excellence Entrepreneurship Certificate
  • Individual support for start-up creation or career planning
  • Access to the alumni network
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with future cohorts
  • Final event and certificate ceremony
