How We Drive the Region Forward
Our work is part of Saarland University’s Third Mission – the responsibility of universities to actively transfer knowledge not only through research and teaching, but also into society and the economy.
We bring innovations from academia into practice, support start-ups and companies on their innovation journey, and actively shape the future of Saarland.
Our ambition? To make Saarland a hotspot for technology and innovation – and to create new jobs in the process.
Supporting Start-ups & Innovation
- Each year, we support around 30 start-ups and accompany more than 120 ideas on their path to success.
- Together with our start-ups, we have already helped create over 4,000 jobs in Saarland.
