Sustainable, Innovative, and Digital Futures in Academia is designed for academic staff /researchers who wish to strengthen their capacities in sustainability, digital transformation, and innovation performance within higher education. The programme combines strategic perspectives on sustainable business models, patents and trademarks, innovation measurement, and digital innovation for sustainability. Participants will gain practical and conceptual tools to enhance teaching, research, and institutional practices, supporting universities in responding to contemporary challenges related to digitalisation, intellectual property, sustainability, and innovation ecosystems.

Agenda

The programme takes place in summer semester 2026 and is structured into four online modules, each consisting of interactive block sessions and follow-up short quizzes. The total workload comprises 10 hours of workshop sessions (4x 2,5 hrs), complemented by brief quizzes requiring around 10 minutes each.

The programme is open to academic staff from all disciplines. It is particularly suitable for those interested in sustainability, intellectual property, entrepreneurship, innovation. No prior subject-specific knowledge is required – curiosity, motivation, and an openness to interdisciplinary perspectives are the main prerequisites.
